Momma and I left and went from Nana’s house to Atlanta and then to Florida. The hotel is so fancy and huge!
Photoshoot
Did a photoshoot for AMTC today and it was so fun!
AMTC Workshop
At my second workshop, we worked on interviews, auditions, and improv; and I’m pretty good at improv!
AMTC Workshop
First AMTC workshop!
Arches>Monument
Jeremy and Daddy went out early this morning to see a rock called Landscape, and then we drove home.
Zion>Arches
When we got to Arches, it was 104 degrees, and the temperature kept rising! We drove around and saw some named rocks like the Windows and Balanced Rock; and we saw a hippo with sharks, a camel, and a snake.
Hiking
We went to Emerald Pools, but couldn’t get past the first pool because of construction, so we went to the Weeping Rock and the Temple of Shinawava. At the end of the temple hike there was a river that you could walk in and continue onto another path. Daddy and I went, but had to go barefoot. When we made it to land, the views were spectacular and definitely worth it. Aunt Robin didn’t come with us tubing because she thought it was too shallow. We did get stuck a bunch, but it was mostly fine, except once when Momma was trying to get me loose the bungee cord slapped my leg really hard.
Glen Canyon Dam>Zion
On our way out of Lake Powell, we stopped at the Glen Canyon Dam and took a tour out on the dam and in the power plant. (I didn’t know we were stopping there and was really confused for a while as to why Momma and Daddy kept saying a bad word to each other). Air conditioning has become my best friend on this trip. In Zion, Aunt Robin is staying in a hotel, so I get the couch bed and don’t have to take it apart every morning for breakfast.
Boating
We rented a boat to go out on the lake. I had to go in a tube with Momma because I was too light and would get flipped over too easily. I even got to drive the boat for a bit!
Grand Canyon>Lake Powell
We got up at 4 am to watch the sunrise. After going back to sleep for about 6 hours, we hiked down into the Grand Canyon a little bit. Then we drove to Lake Powell. After we parked there was a storm with lots of dust, rain, and wind.
